Breeding

I've found myself doing a lot of it lately. Researching ways to make it easier and asking people what they done.

So I've compiled my own little guide here for all of you. I hope it's helpful.

Let's take my Bulbasaur for example in this situation but we'll get to that in a minute.

Now obviously you need a male and female Pokemon who are compatible. There are 13 egg groups and some Pokemon fit into 2 or even three of them. If you do a quick Google search you'll be able to find all that information. So grab the male and the female and stick them in the Breeding Centre. Make sure the female Pokemon is the one you want in the end cause the rules are: Male parent will pass on moves and Female parent will give it it's form. Now it will take time for them to produce an egg. After some research and help from Serebii.net I found the three different speeds of egg production and how they are decided.

Fast: Same Pokemon Species and Different Trainer ID's.
Medium: Different ID and Different Species or Same ID and Same Species
Slow (Possible days wait): Same ID and Different Species

Now for a fun part. Egg Move Breeding. If you have a quick scout on the internet you'll find that Venusaur can't actually learn Leaf Storm by itself. This is why I got my Torterra to learn it, made sure it was male, and stuck it in the breeding centre with my female Venusaur. I was waiting a while for eggs because of the egg speed being slow.

After this all you have to do is keep hatching eggs until you get the nature you want.

I hope this helps. It is a tad confusing at frist but you'll get your head around it eventually.

P.S. best palce for hatching an egg is in Solaceon. the dirt path outside the breeding centre. Go to the far right side, get on yuor bike and start cycling up and down until the egg hatches. To make it even faster grab yourself a Pokemon with Flame Body or Magma Armour and stick them in yuor party to 1/2 the tiem it takes for an egg to hatch.

Bulbasaur Update

Still no Bulbasaur with a good nature. honestly this game really does hate me. Also I am getting a rather good Tropius from a friend so my grass team is coming together I also may keep the Tropius as part of my regulars. with a speed boosting nature AND characteristic and the ability Chlorophyll it'll be exceptionally fast. So now my proper team is gonna look something like this

Breloom - Attack and Speed
Ability - Poison Heal
Item - Toxic Orb
Move 1 - Facade
Move 2 - Swords Dance
Move 3 - Mind Reader
Move 4 - Dynamic Punch

Togekiss - Special Defence and Defence
Ability - Serene Grace

Move 3 - Follow Me

Weavile - Attack and Speed
Ability - Pressure
Item - Focus Sash
Move 1  - Swords Dance

Move 4 - Aerial Ace

Clefable - Defence and Special Defence
Ability - Cute Charm
Item - Shell Bell
Move 1 - Cosmic Power
Move 2 - Charge Beam
Move 3 - Ice Beam
Move 4 - Moonlight

Tropius - Speed and Special Attack
Ability  - Chlorophyll
Item - Heat Rock
Move 1 - Sunny Day
Move 2 - Solarbeam
Move 3 - Air Slash
Move 4 - Synthesis

And that's it so far. not sure what the last Pokemon will be. Any suggestions are welcomed ^^

Major Team Change

Ok so I've decided to becoem serious about my team. I'll still train my Venusaur cause I love it but this is the new set up for my team.

Breloom - Attack and Speed
Togekiss - Special Defence and Defence
Weavile - Attack and Speed
Clefable - Defence and Special Defence

The last two are undecided but I'll probably use special attackers and use them to clean up the mess or I may bring in more tanks to wall the opponent.

Any suggestions are good ones. I will eventually be holding tournaments and such once I get enough people reading this. so yeah advertise people cause you may jsut get rewarded for it.

Venasuar training - Update

currently I am still attempting to get a Bulbasaur with a Modest nature so as I have a excellent Venasaur but the game dosen't like me. I got 6, that's right 6, Bulbasaur in a row that were Hasty and Likes to Eat. that is some srot of sick joke right there. But I did find that the egg breeding of the move Leaf Strom I was attempting works so I'm rather happy with that result. I will get there.

Any suggestinos as to what I should do with my team please feel free to add them.

Good day

Well I've got the next few days off Study so nothing to interesting has happened. I hlped my friend create a fire pokemon only team. It was rather fun.

Pokemon

I have spent the good majority of the day breeding Ditto with Venasaur so as to get a female Bulbasaur and now I must try and get that female Bulbasaur to give birth to a Modest Bulbasaur who knows Leaf Storm. Egg move breeding is tedious work.

I highly doubt anyone reads this blog but oh well I shall ramble away nonetheless.

I plan on making an all Grass type team.

I'm helping my friend design a fire team atm and also training up and Eevee team for another friends girlfriend. my wont this be fun and eventful.

And Here We Are At The Beginning

Well to any and all who stumble upon my blog I wish you a good day ^^

I decided to start this blog because of a few of my friends have them and it seemed like a fun idea.

Currently I am at TAFE.

"He must be working hard" your probably thinking. Well you're wrong. am playing Pokemon Diamond a game of which I am most proud. I have over 700 hours on this game and every Pokemon Nintendo has released. This does not include Arceus as it is not available in Australia yet, the same goes for Shaymin and Shaymin Sky Forme. and yes... it is spelt Forme according to official Nintendo releases.

I am currently training my dear Torterra, whom of which I have shared many loving moments, so that it can learn Leaf Storm. Once it has learned Leaf Storm I shall breed it with Ragnarok the Venasaur from my Leaf Green version so that I can get a Bulbasaur with Leaf Storm to replace the current Milotic in my main team.

I would like some ideas for names for my new Venasaur. Please any suggestions so long as they are not crude or idiotic.
